iMIND is the result of a joint innovative project carried out between the companies Integrated Worlds and Métrica6, in collaboration with the Smart City Cluster and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation within the call for innovation projects AEI 2020-2021.
iMIND’s technology is formed by the combination of digital tools based on AI and Big-data and IoT devices (software + hardware), which provides improvements in water consumption, air quality, security, life quality of users and a better control and cost reductions for public and private managers. Data is processed through iMIND’s web platform, allowing administrators to improve decision-making and manage devices remotely to be more agile and efficient. On the other hand, iMIND offers citizens and tourists a mobile app to interact with the installed
devices and receive information about the positive impact they generate when using them.
The circular economy aims to change the paradigm from the linear economy (produce, use, dispose) to a circular one that turn waste into resources. This implies limiting the resources usage, minimizing the environmental impacts, and increasing efficiency of product usage during its entire life cycle from its production, through its consumption, to the management of the waste produced.
iMIND´S solutions are closely linked to blue economy as the outcomes of iMIND directly contribute to improving sustainability and circularity for coastal tourism using
digitalization and in turn, make citizens and tourists more aware of its impact on the ecosystem.
Water saving and consumption monitoring has different modules that improve the water efficiency of the facilities for hot water recirculation, smart irrigation and leak Alert/Stop and consumption monitoring.
Parking & Charging stations for electric scooters and e-bikes: a mean to promote the use of personal
mobility vehicles more viable and safe in order to reduce gas and noise emissions.
Smart parking and capacity control: Allows to know in real time: 1) the available public parking spaces to avoid unnecessary travel and emissions and save users’ time. 2) Control people traffic in spaces to avoid crowding, that has a negative impact, and to improve the commercial offer of businesses and public entities based on real-time demand.
Air monitoring stations: allow the control of the levels of air quality, temperature, noise and other indicators to measure the positive impact of the rest of iMIND (and third parties’) solutions, ensure optimal conditions for citizens or as an added value for tourists.
iMIND Platform and APP: : all the devices are connected to iMIND’s database directly, iMIND’s virtual tool can manage IoT devices, creating Digital Twins using Big Data Analysis and AI to predict demands of resources.
