About This Project
The present invention refers to a timed water discharge control system for a gravity cistern such as those fitted to low level toilets. This technology, developed by Métrica6 as a result of a customer’s request, is intended to become a more efficient complement to these cisterns, allowing the selective discharge of two different volumes of water suitable for the particular requirements of each use, depending on the amount of liquid waste to be disposed of.
The calculation and design of the product have been previously defined in the research phase carried out and have been checked and agreed with the customer. The final result is a functional prototype of the technology to be validated together with the customer in a demonstration process. On this validated prototype, at least one additional replica will be made (finally obtaining at least two 100% functional prototypes of the system).
The assembly time is approximately 20 minutes for a professional. It does not require tools, but it may require tools such as Teflon tape or hemp.
