Infrastructure monitoring PCB. This University-Enterprise consortium tries to develop a system for controlling different aspects of a big structure like a bridge, a tunnel or a dam, among other examples. Multiple variables are measured by an extensive array of sensors: ambient temperature, relative humidity, vibrations and accelerations, visible marks or cracks and deformations; monitoring the complete activity of the structure in several points, thus, granting a better maintenance and helping to anticipate a collapse. The electronic design is based on a previous schematic created by the consortium from which Métrica6 starts the calculations for new components, the design of the PCB, the assembling of multiple prototypes and the testing of them in our laboratory. After all the tasks are completed, these prototypes can be deployed in active structures to check their behaviour in a real scenario.
