One of the many innovation areas of Métrica6‘s hot water technology NESS (v.2015) is aimed at demonstrating the econominal retribution and environmental impact of the mass application of the technology in different regions.

In this programme Horizon 2020- sme Instrument Phase I, Métrica6 analysed several implementation routes for the NESS technology in at least three European regions, like Spain, Germany and United Kingdom, among others. In those areas, Métrica6 investigated the compatibility with local construction and installation codes, as well as other technical, commercial and legal aspects needed for a proper application.

The final result shows how this technology is a perfect match for the construction sector in those countries, just taking into account minor modifications, like the plug terminations for the UK market. Moreover, the balance between water savings and electric energy consumption results in a better ROI for these regions with colder climates.
