The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are a compromise between all the State Members as a universal call. The aim is to end poverty, protect our planet and guarantee peace and prosperity for all of us before 2030, through inclusion and cooperation. These objectives have multiple purposes in which Metrica6 has active and continuous cooperation.

How Metrica6 contributes to Sustainable Development Goals?

Sustainability was one of the main points on which Metrica6 was founded. One of our principal developed products is Waisense. It is a water recirculation system that avoids wasting cold water until the hot water comes out. A simple installation that allows the improvement of families and industries economy. It contributes to reducing the carbon footprint, climate change and helps to minimize hydric stress. Like this, we can achieve a more equitable distribution of one of our most precious resources, water.

However, we decide not to stay just there. We continue implementing sustainability in our own products and, also, in the ones we create for third parties.

Inside our huge product catalog, we developed and are still developing Smart irrigation systems, air quality measurement, parking monitorization, eco-charger for scooters, etc. These are products that focus on improving the quality of life for citizens and our environment. Furthermore, we work with local suppliers, which contributes to reducing our carbon footprint.

For third parties, every time that we develop or manufacturing a product we advise on sustainability. We look at how to optimize and improve the fabrication and industrialization process in order to make it more respectful of the environment. For example, by reducing plastic use, using recycled paper or cardboard, recommending 0km suppliers, etc. we can help and improve our lifes quality. All of this without losing our business and rentability vision.
